Careful with these. I bought one of their Twiddly Bits guitar midi "loop" sets. Problem is, many of them are not really loops, i.e. phrases which can be copied back to back so that they, you know, "loop". Rather, you get very long midi files which contain, say 20-30 riffs each, seperated by a bar or two. To actually get loops out of them you have to listen to the whole track and if you like something, then snip it out yourself. Really awkward. Imagine if audio "loops" came that way. One of my worst purchases. I even called them to say that it was very misleading to market them as loops. The Keyfax guy insisted they are loops, even though he admitted they don't loop. It was but surreal; he seemed ready to say anything, even something nonsensical, to "save face".braj wrote:http://secure.keyfax.com/mm5/merchant.m ... y_Code=I_P
I wonder if they ever have sales. I tried a demo file and it is lovely, works perfectly, so I may be looking to get some of these in the future.
Just bought EZKeys, please don't laugh :)

Yeah I've ran into a couple of free sets like that and they were awkward. It seems to me it wouldn't take them that much effort to go through them and split them up, instead of every user doing it themselves. They would maybe sell more, I dunno. They lost a customer with me based on your feedback, so there is one at least.

I really want to get EZKeys. I can play some keyboard but not too much but I really enjoy the sound of keyboards, especially pianet, rhodes, wurlitzer, organ, etc. I also mostly write singer-songwriter stuff, so adding nicer keyboard parts would be great. I also think the samples that come with EZKeys sound fine; they would work for me.
The thing is the price is a bit much for me. Not many people are selling their copy. Does anyone know when the next sale might be? Black Friday? And what's the lowest price you can get it for. Seems like 89 USD from this thread.
