The voting is for 15 days, right? So he has 5 days left to make the needed posts for his vote to be valid... the posts don't all have to be on this specific thread to count, do they?
Well, that would be too open to abuse. Quoting from the rules: Voters must have had 20 prior forum posts before start of the voting period.

So he has to have 5 more posts until the end of the month to be eligible to vote in the *next* competition.[/quote]

Yep, yep... forgot the "before" part.

Hi to all composer,
this votes for the challenge is the hardest of all i do. So many great tracks and after first review: 23 really good tracks ... hell of voting :shock:

So it takes a long time for me to listen and give my points away with pain cause i wish more points to have ... :cry:

5 Points -> Z.prime - Finding Happiness (redux)
Wonderfull "ducking" sounds, a great beat for me and i love your automation work, again.

Great drive sound with good mixing and sounds.

3 Points -> DocJon - The Chase
This sounds great for me, i like the mainline in "typicall" Doc style :)

What a lot of great entries! Took ages to whittle them down to the final five. Most impressed by those which really pushed DUNE to the extremes, in particular those which had some really cleverly programmed and original sounds, and the orchestral pieces which did not sound like they had come from DUNE at all!

5 points
Jasinski - Summer Night Drive Time

4 points
Evo2Slo - Wormsign

3 pojnts
AdagioCM - Arrakis

2 points
Photonic - Waiting for Sandworm

1 point
Pulse Width Modulation - Great Hunter in the Sky

Yo its Loris

Here are my votes. I listened to all songs so many times I have them memorized by artist. If a new Dune movie came out these would be the 5 soundtracks in my opinion:

5. Jasinski - Arrakis Revisited - awesome composition, sound quality and variation. The flawless merger of dubstep and the dramatic movie score is what set this track ahead. I would love to see the screenshot of your DAW as the song is progressing I bet it looks complicated as hell.

4. Adagiocm - Arrakis - No doubt this track is even better than the Dune theme itself. The dramatic buildups and the smooth sound transitioning is awesome. The string sounds are top notch and majestic, yes majestic.

3. Nex - On The Edge - Awsome futuristic lead at the start. As soon as I heard the track I knew it would be in the top lineup for me. The periodic beat changeup and solos keep the track interesting to listen to. Nice work.

2. Yeager - Dune Tune II - Like many contestants at OSC, Yeager consistently makes awesome sounds and this is an example. Masterful display of control of pace, the beat change, the leads and sound quality.

1. Evo2Slo - Wormsign - There are so many different sounds in this track that made it stand out for me. A good beat and I'm sold.On top of that it had a really catchy melody. A great composition and choice of sounds. Great flow and great track.

Thank you Marksawhybikky and RuediRena for the votes, I am truly honored to have received points in this competition.
