Regret to inform you about the delay release.
We need more time to make the synthesizer as we had planned, do our best to make it fast as possible.

Please take the time you need to finish it...Nobody is waiting for an unfinished product. We'll see it when it gets there..
Maybe it is handy to first release a product, since the announcement raised a lot of questions....but then again, there would be no buzz beforehand.

Maybe not worth it for you Dragon...EvilDragon wrote:At 139 euros, I don't think it's worth it. I get most of this stuff covered with z3ta+ 2 and Zebra anyways...
I should really have all covered too regarding VA synths, but sometimes a synth just have this "buy me" thing over it.
I think SPIRE may be "worth it" for me, course i really miss a good VA synth that's logically laid out with a nice gui and with all the classic synth options AND a good FM implementation, and SPIRE has all that it seems.
I'm looking forward to try it out... it really look's like a synth for me

Looks good and sounds good guys. I'm more than likely not interested... although sometimes a new synth comes along that proves to be inspirational. The GUI is reminiscent of Diversion in that it is a very clean layout and has a very inviting feel... which in the case of Diversion just makes you want to dive in and create new sounds. As someone said: no gimmicks! So, nicely done!
Btw, the individual who was banned was also attacking Dmitri (the creator of Diversion). Hm, must be some kind of agenda there or else some circumstance that we are not aware of. Anyway, good luck with Spire!
+1 if you can get Himalaya and Bigtone (and also Aiyn Zahev) on board for preset design!
Regarding delay of release and pricing. 1) Take the time you need to do things right! But make sure to communicate with everyone as well. As long as everyone knows that you're still working on it and doing your best I'm positive that everyone will be very supportive. 2) When Diversion came out there was also special pricing... but the release was only for Windows. When the Mac version was released the special pricing was re-introduced. So please consider doing something like that as well.
Best of luck to you!!!

I would fully expect the developer to offer mac users the same discount as window users.
What would be appreciated though is a clear statement on the matter as the question has now been asked more than once on this thread.
That said, it sounds like the developer has probably got more to be getting on with right now than reading KVR.

Well nice sound, but nothing special IMHO. We have too much "trancy" plugins with nice unison modes like Sylenth1, Dune, Zebra2 etc. So the cpu-usage will be interesting as well. For a new plugin and for lowering the mac price, how about a group buy for both pc and mac users the same price at 69 Euros?

If I buy this I'm going to punch myself on the nose for being such a mindless synth whore. Currently looking for a decent pair of boxing gloves on Ebay.

Buy, and wait for a release version for the Mac.
No guarantees that it generally happen.

Vega555 is in no sense the only developer that has a pre- full release price, where its cheaper before official release and features are added at release.
For instance, some of kvr's most loved developers use similar methods.

Thanks for confirming that mac users get the same discount and, even better, don't have to wait any longer than windows users for the first release version!
