In all fairness, they only bill your card for Push once the product is shipping. But, it's till dishonest to lure customers with a fast delivery time. Because if I now decide to cancel my pre-order, I lose my discount for the combined order of Live 9 and Push.
you should contact the support

I think they only up'd the shipping time, after all
short term pushs were sold
so maybe you belong to the lucky ones that will recieve it fast
I really would contact ableton before cancellation
Thanks for your advices.

Please note that the new delay is displaying in the "my orders" page, not just on the general website store.

I did contact support, but I don't expect them to answer really fast: I suppose they have quite a busy day/week :) I'll certainly not cancel the order without hearing from them first. After all, there is no rush any more :?

The dates are back to 2-4 weeks now, guess they felt like scaring everyone away from ordering for a bit to reduce their server load :)

Installed - the new splash screen is very boring compared to previous ones. Also I was hoping it would ship with all the Electric presets but I still only have bass and piano/keys but nothing else, and no drum rack presets either. What gives?

There should be lots of drum rack presets and lots of keys presets. Electric probably only has piano/keys presets and bass presets, that makes sense, but there's lots of drum content. Have you downloaded all the user packs that you get with your license level? Go to Your Packs and see what you can download.

And I assume you're looking under the Drums category of the browser right? Not instruments/drum rack or something.

No I recall it having lots more categories than that in Live 8. As does Lounge Lizard.

Luckily I was able to locate them in my Live 8 library but why do they not install with L9? Can't seem to find a way to copy them from my Live 8 library into the Live 9 instrument preset folder though (can't find it and open in Finder isn't working) - the browser has stuff all over the place, very confusing

How many others are getting gateway 504 errors?

I am currently not able to log on to the user forum. I made a post and it kicked me out.

from Ableton website:

On a Mac, the Core Library is contained inside the Application package. Access the Live 9.app, right-click on it and, from the context menu, choose "Show Package contents". The Core Library is then stored under Contents/App-Resources/Core Library.

Yeah you can't modify the Factory Library. It's cut down a bit compared to the Live 8 Library. However you can copy any presets you want into either the User Library (which has a similar structure), or any user location of your chosing. You can actually have it however you like. I actually much prefer the new organization, so much easier to track where everything is.
"Places" has the physical locations of files. "Sounds", "Drum Rack" etc. have presets from the places (including factory library and other places)
So:
-Factory Library stays the same always
-Ableton Facotry Packs (inlcuding thrid party) get added to a place of your choosing (but the presets also show up under sounds)
-User Library exists for everything you save or move there manually (plus you can use any other folders that are added as "Places"

It's so much easier, because I can just delete a pack that I find that I don't like and everything is deleted from one location, not spread out in all different folders.

Ableton have said its broken and they are trying to fix it.

FYI: I downloaded all the packs last Saturday and they haven't been updated since then according to the filenames at least. So, if you were a beta tester and had downloaded some packs check to make sure the filenames are new (they add version info in them), before you go nuts and download everything from scratch again :)

Indeed! I'll wait some days and decide at the end of the special offer... It is such a short time span and no opportunity to try Push.

I also wonder what the policy is with upgrading to Live9 studio + Push then if I do not like Push, and want to sell it but keep Live 9 studio, how does that work? To be able to sell the full Push package, it would need a Live9 intro. Anyone asked Ableton about this?
