Sometime installers wont overwrite a precious version. Probably that's the case.

You have to copy the new DLL (or VST file, whatever mac uses) from the new installation location, to where the old DLL is. I know that much, even though I don't know much about Mac...

Thanks,

Oh no! I am checking. I hope this is not a weird build problem on OS X.

I found that the right version of the VST plug-in is included in the dmg file.
Please check if you have an older version in /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST or in ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST and delete it. You need to move the .vst plug-in manually to your VST folder.
If you'd like I'll upload the plug-in again for you to try.
Thanks,
Attila

I move the plugin via the litte gui that pops up in the installation process.
if it is any help, the application and the plugin are different sizes.

They should not differ too much.
In RapidComposerDemo-2.5.dmg the application is 52,594,079 bytes, the VST plug-in is 53,167,883 bytes.
Do you see different numbers?

No, I am afraid it is 32-bit for Mac OS. The user interface programming is totally different for 32-bit and 64-bit VST hosts and plug-ins on OS X.
We'll need to spend some time with that. 64-bit is coming but not soon.

I deleted the old version from my vst folder, I drug the new version to the vst folder.
Still not version 2.5.
too bad, I really want to try it.
Am I the only person having this problem?

The non VST version is version 2.5, but my generators section sadly don't look like what the videos show, and I don't have a melody generator option.
I am now using the PC standalone version.
I don't see a melody generator on the PC version either, is that disabled in the demo?
