Impressed with the low CPU load, using a sound card, but it doesn't go much over 30% in FL Studio

I see some reviews complaining about having to load a plugin inside a plugin (Reaktor) to use Monark.

But is it really a big difference between doing that and using Waves plugs, they also have to be loaded via a shell then.

It's very good but it could always be better (sound-wise etc).
circuit modeling and 0-dfb filters are cool

Yea, they really did a good job emulating a classic.
Sweet deal...

I have an update to Komplete on order so waiting for something in the mail every day now. Monark is pretty much the main reason I want it, as I can see it being really great for making synth embellishments to my guitar based tracks, or maybe even adding a synth bass to some piano work.
Sweet child in time...

Ya beauty sound. Really don't understand not having velocity sensitivity though. They added filter types, yet left velocity sensitivity off.

Here's what I want to know. No Reaktor user made ensemble that I have heard yet has the quality of Monark's filter. Is that because the components that make up Monark aren't actually in Reaktor's Core or is it because users are just not skilled enough or dedicated enough to create something of that quality?

This is something that has been bugging me since I got Komplete 9 because Monark totally blows away every other synth inside the Reaktor collection both factory and user made.

Monark's filter is made in Reaktor Core. It's a locked core cell.

So it's impossible to analyze and duplicate?

Post

Yeah, you can't analyze it. You can copy it and transplant to other instrument, though.

But everything inside that core cell is definitely made with basic Core blocks.

Ah, so then somebody CAN take that filter and put it in their own synth.

Interesting how nobody has done that yet unless I've just not run into any or the ones how have, haven't shared their ensemble with the community.

Didn't this guy incorporate Monark modules in so way or other?:

People are not allowed to share an ensemble, which uses (locked) parts from pay-for-products.

Ah, I didn't know that. But we can build them for our own use, provided we know how?

Post

Yep.

IIRC Monark has 2 locked core cells. The filter and the envelope generator are both locked.
