I didn't see anything about Korg Oasys modeling - I have used it successfully for acoustic guitar. And, believe it or not, I did this with Pianoteq.

It seems that Korg Oasys has been discontinued for a long time... The link to "Software & Manuals" in the leftmost column is dead and the product seems to have been released somewhere around 2000. So it is impossible to test it (and of course to purchase it) any more.
Your result with Pianoteq is splendid, probably thanks to several effects to totally transform the timbre (I shall try some funny experiments in that kind with my Pianoteq too). And the choice to recall the Beatles for that kind of sound is excellent.

OASYS is discontinued but lives on in Kronos.
