Did you try it? It's pretty solid. Check my sound examples... I think it has nothing to be ashamed of in comparison to Kyma, really.V0RT3X wrote:It's no Kyma but I guess it's the best you can get for a native plugin.

I'm really impressed! I particularly found it fun to morph between some of my different Kaleidoscope recordings, but all sorts of different material yields interesting and useful results. I'll be buying this as soon as I can find a free moment to pull out my credit card!

I'm 99% sure there was a Windows version of Prosoniq Morph I was using with Max 4 in a generative audio remix patch. This version is sonically well beyond - version exciting.

Anybody know how the license works for he demo? If I authorize the demo to my ilok2, can I then later if I purchase the thing authorize it to a computer without an ilok2? What about transferring it then from a computer license to a ilok2?
I really don't want to "get stuck" on one machine (hint: Zynaptiq, please provide 2 licenses! One for studio machine and one for laptop, like Steven Slate does with some of his ilok protected plugins).
I travel quite frequently and need to be able to take my production tools with me but I NEVER travel with my iloks (got 3 of those buggers and they have thousands of dollars worth of software on them), they are always staying in the studio where they are properly insured.

You can drag the license from machine to iLok 2 or your account as needed, no locking in to any of those.

I agree that it would create a whole lot less headaches if two installations were included. I have a dedicated music workstation with an ilok but also a laptop with only a software key which I use when I'm not at home, often without a network connection. It would be a pain to have to remember to deactivate my license from the ilok and transfer it to my laptop every time I want to leave the house.

Just to be clear: it does NOT require an iLok USB device. You can activate to a machine or to an iLok2!d-s-m wrote:Too bad this is ilok

As to a stolen computer...good question. generally, we'll – again – keep you up and running. That said, theft is usually something that an insurance should handle, no?

well, it'll obviously be on their insurance policy for you, wont it.lnikj wrote:But what is your policy, Zynaptic, if somebody stole my computer

That's good to hear. Some companies are hesitant to make any sort of statement on this matter.zynaptiq wrote:Just to be clear: it does NOT require an iLok USB device. You can activate to a machine or to an iLok2!d-s-m wrote:Too bad this is ilok

Re insurance, yes, it *should* cover it, but whether, how much, and indeed when, an insurance company will pay out is never a matter of any certainty unfortunately.
Thanks for the reply. This may well be the first time I ever purchase ilok protected software, which you should take as a compliment from me
