Here is a KnobMan file inspired by the ÜberMod knob (i got that plugin myself...):
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/532 ... ob%201.zip

Also includes 2 PNG files rendered for Poly-Ana with a big (61 pixels) and a small (34 pixels) knob.

UPDATE:
This is a skin based on the Poly-Ana v1.30 Beta 2 default skin (that one included in the "skin" folder at the Beta download) where the knobs were replaced with the ÜberMod inspired ones:

With the Valhalla thing the minimalist 2D style looks good because the whole GUI is consistently like that, and a whole lot simpler.

Someone posted a SEM-style GUI section earlier on, that looked pretty good actually. Black fonts on creme background are easy on the eye and it looks friendly.

Looking better and better

But as you are on the extended team at Tone2, does this mean that Admiral is being bought up and heading for Bavaria?

deleted, that skin no longer exists...

Mixing 2D knobs with 3D switches. :dog:

Not to mention the white border around the knobs is larger and more prominent than the text.

Red can be good to see things right away, but in the long run, I find that colour is hard on the eyes, blue is more easy then.

Hey i just wanted to post an example for those knobs. I did not say this is fully optimized. Except the knobs this test is done with the default skin of the Poly-Ana Beta version.

Anyway just checking some switches in KnobMan.

Picasso would skin VST's using Cubism

Yes, if Picasso made his portraits using KnobMan Pro, the result would have been something like this. It would have set the art world back 50 years. :ud:

So does doing Beta testing for Waldorf, Tone2 and also others mean i could not be interested in products from other companies?

FWIW i got Poly-Ana longer than all my Waldorf plugins, my current Waldorf hardware synths and all my Tone2 plugins. Had bought Poly-Ana back in beginning of 2008.

Not at all, I'm just amazed that you got the time :tu:

I'm thinking that pro players in the game would like to be remunerated someway or other though

Sorry, to say it polite: I can't see much difference to the usual color schemes with Modulation Source selectors as dropdown like it always was but at least you guys have some fun!

Sometimes I have ideas as well, but I am just too lazy to sit down for hours and mess with pixels in irritating programs such as MS Paint, so I just don't do it anymore, life gets shorter and shorter the older you get. So I increasingly ask myself whether the effort is worth it, and usually it is not.
I expect the developer to provide a very good GUI.

Could you actually use that skin for more than two minutes without getting a headache ? I couldn't but party on......do a pink and orange one I don't care......

Anyway I've sent a PM to Limeflavour. SatYtunes has posted here and he knows about the free license for a skin so if anybody can think of any other skinners they'd like to see apply their talent to Poly-Ana let them know...... :tu:

What's it to you anyway  Even if you can't, somebody could. Nobody is twisting your arm to use it.
