Ever since upgrading to 2.7, SynthMaster keeps dropping out, both in Reaper and Sonar Platinum (Foxboro-Latest) it will play fine for a couple of minutes and then the sound will just drop out, it doesn't crash or anything, just stops making any sound, I have to load another patch or reload the current one. This is playing back a midi track

If you could email me a test Reaper session I'll test it.jinotsuh wrote:Ever since upgrading to 2.7, SynthMaster keeps dropping out, both in Reaper and Sonar Platinum (Foxboro-Latest) it will play fine for a couple of minutes and then the sound will just drop out, it doesn't crash or anything, just stops making any sound, I have to load another patch or reload the current one. Hi guys,
I will continue announcing incremental updates for 2.7.x on this thread.
Here comes the first update: 2.7.2, we have 4 fixes:
1. FIX: Phase parameter doesnt work for HP/LP algorithms
2. FIX: Osc Coarse Tune/Layer Pitch parameter values are now quantized to semitones
3. FIX: Background pictures contain labels for LFO/filter sections
4. FIX: Wavetable oscillator display doesnt display sync/quantize algorithms correctly
We hope that the pitch knob(s) fix should make most of you guys happy

I have the same "problem" with u-he downloads. After the download is finished you just have to go to the download list (CTRL+J) and there you have the option to keep the file. Hope this help.wagtunes wrote:For example, Chrome simply won't allow me to download U-he's demos. It tells me that it's a dangerous file and they block it. There isn't even anything I can do to override it.

Same here and also when you "Reset Preset", the default saw wave is mislabeled "sine" and the Gui editor also crashes every time I try and open it. Thanks for the fixes so far!kv331 wrote:Really? will double check this!Dasheesh wrote:I just downloaded it, but the hipass/lowpass phase is still not functioning for me on the latest mac OS X I'm afraid...maybe next time.

Confirmed, but it's just a little glitch as if you go to the saw wave and then back to sine it corrects itself.DocShay wrote:Same here and also when you "Reset Preset", the default saw wave is mislabeled "sine" and the Gui editor also crashes every time I try and open it. It still crashes Cubase (just not quite as often), most often when I'm getting too involved with the imported waves, or during automation. Overall, I favor the Waldorf soft synths over it, significantly. But that's just me, still an excellent synth, just far from a go to for me, it's just can't rid itself of certain bugs (strangely).
However, I must admit that Synthmaster sounds better than ever imo, it really has more grit and balls to it, though I'm not certain of the cause. Perhaps the filters were tweaked?

The additional oscillator functions make a big difference.Apostate wrote:It still crashes Cubase (just not quite as often), most often when I'm getting too involved with the imported waves, or during automation. Did you try contacting us and report the issues? If you're on OSX we'd appreciate if you could send us the crash report(s)Apostate wrote:It still crashes Cubase (just not quite as often), most often when I'm getting too involved with the imported waves, or during automation.
