actually this remark: "first, no, I am not having my period, thank you so much for asking (ever know or had a relationship with any woman ever? well, never ask that)" used 'you' and appeared to be characterizing me as the stereotypical obtuse male, for saying something I didn't say, nor imply. So I was replying directly to something put to me. What's with scare quotes around my f**king name? Do gfy. Ainchoo pretending to be a grown man on here?

i saw Jan's comment as referencing Marla's mistake at gender presumption, in context to having previously mocked another poster for mistaking Marla as a male's name.

Gender irrelevant, the question was asked about whether "any of you" had relationships with women, as if to say no one here has any experience with women, with Marla being sarcastically instructive (what's the opposite gender for "mansplaining"?). Jan indicated experience (being female) on top of experience (having relationships with females). As well as teaching me of my ignorance about Jan, I found the reasoning to be satisfactorily amusing.

Well I googled Jan and get it now.... I think. Whatever gender people are or want to be is no concern of mine. However, I gladly respond to the role they are playing around here when they are begging for it, like Maria.

What manners for a Lady. It was just that "Jan" is a male's name where I come from. Nothing to get offended about. However, it makes sense to me now, so lets leave it at that. Topic is Maria's complaints for now.
