Maybe i actually DO get it on the 2nd of october... thought i was privileged as a subscriber or something.
Forgot when i got the other issues before. I thought it had been before the start of the new month, but i could be wrong.

I don't think they would have added the issue to the serial center last Friday, if that didn't mean that the issue was put in the mail for the subscribers, and heading for the newsstands too.

It's not 100% firm, but i read here that someone asked Beat about a digital download of the DVD for his digital copy of the mag, and he was pointed to the download of the DVD ISO file, if that helps. I'm a subscriber, and there was a faulty DVD on one issue, and Beat prodvided me with the ISO. So, yes, it most probably is possible. If not, then you still could ask u-he if they're cool with other people providing it for people who bought a digital copy, if it's in their and not Beat's responsibility.

Zebra CM was not a cut down version of Zebra2, but a slightly modified Zebra1.Krakatau wrote:Undoubtely you're an authentic prophet !Numanoid wrote:I predict that Beatzille is a cut down version of Bazille, a bit like how Zebra is to Zebra CM
As far as I know.

Zebra|CM (Zebra: Computer Music edition) is a stripped-down version of our flagship software synthesizer Zebra2, using selected modules from the latest version, but arranged in the simpler configuration of Zebra 1.0 (2003). Zebra|CM is 'magware' – you will find it on the cover CD of every issue of Computer Music magazine!

Well it says exactly what Chris-S stated.
At least as far as the configuration being similar to how Zebra 1 was. AFAIK, ZebraCM also got updates components on the last updates, because the version which was available for a long time was from 2007 still. E.g. it has 11x (?) unison on the oscillators part now, when it used to be 4x i think. I think the filters got an update too.

Not that it makes a big difference in the end, but what I am reading is the following:
Chris-S: Zebra CM was not a cut down version of Zebra2
u-he: Zebra|CM is a stripped-down version of ... Zebra2
