You hear high frequencies coming from your woofer? wut?

Serious question. Why are you incapable of putting your ear close to a speaker to hear if the sound is coming out of it? You don't even have to do that, just play some music and cover the tweeter up with your hand and see if the balance changes. If it does then your tweeters are working.

Everyone is going crazy with this. He doesn't do what would be logical.
- find someone on line who owns them or find more reviews to read...no one here owns them!
- You should have measured the freq response of the tweeter with your Sonarworks software and 'flat' mic when you were outside...but you didn't?
EDIT - actually, it doesn't matter! Put the mic right near to the tweeter and measure the response!
- Make a comparison smartphone video and post it here so we can watch and listen.
EDIT - HERE'S A WHOLE GROUP OF YOUTUBE REVIEWS/DEMOS OF THE 100S

EDIT - watched all the youtube vids. Didn't find one that was a technical/comparative review. They were all 'New Product' demos or manufacturers biased review. Considering they have been demo'd at conventions and now been around for 2 years, it seems surprising to me there are no 'positive' second/third party consumer reviews. No good reviews maybe because no one likes them? Why would anyone want to go to the trouble to make a negative review? You don't make friends that way, ya know?
I get the feeling these monitors are disappointing in as far as price over performance. They may sound as good as $1000 monitors, but why pay $2000 if $1000 will do?

Or do nothing and stop this crazy thread.
