Elevate has for me, finally replaced Vintage Warmer as the last treatment on my master tracks.... this after almost twenty years of Continuous use of this PSP plugin !

Would love to hear details of how you're using Elevate to get better results than Vintage Warmer.Krakatau wrote: Thu May 05, 2022 5:06 am Elevate has for me, finally replaced Vintage Warmer as the last treatment on my master tracks.... this after almost twenty years of Continuous use of this PSP plugin !

Wow, thank you for your insight. You really cleared that all up. It's not like there are several sections of Elevate, each with their own set of parameters that could influence how you get results comparable or better than Vintage Warmer. Your expertise on questions not even asked of you is just astounding. Thanks so much for the time and willingness to enlighten I guess the adage about assumptions is just completely wrong!martinjuenke wrote: Thu May 05, 2022 6:18 pm I assume he puts it as last instance on his masterbuss and lets do it it's work.

Elevate Limiter v1.10 (and sometimes Saturate but to a far lesser extent) is for the most part unusable here. it doesn't play nicely with other plugs (actually - it doesn't play AT ALL) and crackles like hell under very low DAW/CPU load (<10% load).

Well, ...currently i'm still at the most, making some adjustments based on a factory preset or another (mainly reducing the saturate stage that i dislike on master bus, or changing slightly the input) ...i didn't try yet to personnalise other paramaters so far because i need more overall experience on them,... through factory presetsTBlake wrote: Thu May 05, 2022 5:38 pmWould love to hear details of how you're using Elevate to get better results than Vintage Warmer.Krakatau wrote: Thu May 05, 2022 5:06 am Elevate has for me, finally replaced Vintage Warmer as the last treatment on my master tracks.... this after almost twenty years of Continuous use of this PSP plugin !

Presets that are most of the time , apart from these few adjutments, very satisfying by themselves

Curious but is this happening with all version of the plug-in (VST2, VST3, AU)?
I'm sure Dan will respond, he's been extremely busy. In the interim, please email support@eventide.com and include all of your computer & DAW specs.

Elevate is quiet heavy on CPU with my M1 mac. It's add about 10% to CPU usage meter in Live 12. Am I only one here with this problem?
