congratulations!
Fortunately they remembered to add a lot of buttons, switches, knobs and dials so you can create your own super l33t noises.
hey , lucky us.. how do you initialise a Halionsonic Flux patch again?

edit: found it. A patch named "Init Flux" exists but couldn't be found when searching in the flux patch bar for some odd reason. I had to right click the left side patch bay list to init, then load an instance of flux and then select the init patch.

how odd.

Best to work internally at the highest resolution possible and then just at the final moment convert to CD or MP3, otherwise if you worked at 16 bit internally resolution errors would mount up

Oh, I did buy Pro 9 less than 2 weeks ago, so that would be awesome! Thanks for the heads-up! :D

Go here to check if you're entitled to a free grace period upgrade:

No, at least on Windows I don't think it is back yet. It might be on OSX now, but I'm not positive.

Steinberg only cares when you activated it not when it was purchased. My pal has been sitting on his Cubase 9 update for months and just installed it and got the free update. Activation date is what matters in regard to the grace period.

Free Grace Period

Have you activated an earlier Cubase version on October 18, 2017, or later?

They say they are testing. So am I, I guess, LOL! Since I only High Sierra on my Mac and decided to load it there. It plays the demo song just fine, I'll let people know if I find any show stopping bugs.

Hurray! So many changes! It's probably the best update in last few years. I love every new feature :)
Bezier and other changes to automation tracks are great. Now it's pleasure to work with automation. Finally hehe
Zoning with levels nad Control Room in arrangement window: it's even better because there's also file browser now
New metronome functions: not that I need it on daily basis but definitely great feature
64bit: cool but I'm not sure if I'll be able to hear any difference :D
More Inserts: cool feature for many plugin abusers :D Not so much for me
New look of 3 plugins: good, now I can use Tube Comp without gag reflex
Direct offline processing: awesome feature for soundtrack editing and sound design. I'll abuse this feat for sure :D
Halion Sonic Flux is nice addition
Adapt to zoom: it's major feature, very helpful
Drag midi to Sampler: seems to be an interesting feature

Except that everything works flawlessly. I'm one of those who had 'cubase crashing on exit' problems but now it seems to be just bad memory from the past.
Btw. this crash was probably because some plugins didn't release resources before Cubase tried to exit. Kontakt was definitely problematic for me but it could be avoided by closing project first then waiting till Cubase is responsive again and then close Cubase.

It says for updating from 9 (for me): NZD 98! Why?! It should be about $72 if I convert it from U$49! I will wait 40% discount or just staying with ver 9, it won't rust away or something!
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
