I've only ever used it inside the DAW.

The page says it comes in stand alone and also plugin form. I'm still on V1 so I don't know what the stand alone app looks like.

These plugins only have audio inputs, so by the time you get the data to the plugin it has to be audio. Typically the virtual instruments put out audio data, so should be able to put any audio plugin after. But double check your routing situation. One solution would be to put the plugin in the master channel, I don't think DAWs allow midi to get that far before converting to audio.

Literally half of the stuff I tried had more or less severe issues. A few didn't seem to actually process sound, others stopped working mid-use and Total EQ crashed Studio One.

Still, I bought Tape and Graffio a few days ago and still can't see them in my account, nor have I received any kind of confirmation email.

Was probably going to pick up a couple more plugins, but not too sure about that now...

Are you doing something extremely strange here ?
Every time I buy Hornet it is in my account immediately.
Every single plugin I own or have tested by Hornet processed sound 100%, some are subtle and that is their job, but they definitely work.
Some of his stuff is way too subtle for me, but it all works and if a plugin is crashing your DAW, go to the developer and ask for sandboxing it's 2020.

Hi Saverio. Have you been able to track the issue of Cubase blacklisting the MasterTool plugin on some Windows system? I opened a ticket about it like five days ago, but haven't received a response yet...

Hi unfortunately we haven't understood the reason for the issue yet.

We have tried with one real windows PC with the latests win 10 and two VMs installed from scratch, one with the latest windows version and the other with the previous one (sorry can't remember the numbers right now)
All the three systems worked fine showing our plugins in Cubase, Reaper, Studio One and Live.

There must be something with the dlls found in some configuration, I've been building our latest plugins with the latest win10 sdk, i'll try to rebuild them with an older version to see if it helps...

1. Hornet Angle is free and it's a unique and useful take on a tilt EQ. The magic is that the tilt effect rolls off on the highs and lows so it does what's needed without wrecking either end of the spectrum. Stable, low CPU, and free (with a tweet.)

2. Hornet updated Thirty One (MK2.) It was already good but now it's great! Major UI/UX improvement and features too.

He added an algorithm variation, ability to solo and bypass bands plus manually adjust which it had before but now it's easier to read what you changed.)

It's a worthy upgrade, and if you haven't tried it yet now is a great time to explore it.

There's a demo available. I love the continuous EQ mode at around 50% with a 4 second integration time. Try it on a mix!

More and more appreciate HoRNet and the processing/implementation of Saverio. Always improving and obviously passionate. I've been looking at the channel strip, demoed it, and almost feel like I'm stealing it by buying it at 70% off today...really like the MK3 strip.

sometimes i feel the urge to buy something but then i think at the very faulty plugin i bought and did not use for a while, when i wanted to use it the refund period was over so i am stuck with a useless plugin and this leaves me sour.

How good are Hornet Plugins?
