The manual actually doesn't even mention velocity as a mod-source, it's like 1:1 with the hardware in regards to keyboard input :?

I hope I'm just missing something.
Cherry is right to keep MPE out of the paraphonic.

That's perfectly fine, and as a matter of fact I never questioned their decision on the Polymoog emulation, due to its paraphonic nature.

My focus was entirely on the "We'll certainly have more MPE-compatible instruments in the future", mistakenly hoping that could have been referred to the following release (the Eight Voice emulation, perfectly suited for MPE).

The manual I was referring to in my previous post, was their Eight-Voice manual/documentation, from the product page they published by mistake some days ago.

Isn't today the day?
I just checked the Cherry Audio website as well.
Really hoping to check out the newest 8-voice.

And I agree no need for MPE.

they're just waking up out there. they'll get to it :)

I have a feeling Windows users are going to think it’s better than OB-E :)

Yup, I already know I will be picking the CA 8 voice over he OB-E, but even if I had a MAC the price difference would also be a big influence as I don't really need another VA....but can be tempted
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Don't they know us track heads need our fix....... :x

:P

There's about a 90% chance I won't need this synth but there's also about a 90% chance I'll buy it due to the price.

Just have to give the demo a spin whenever it hits....

aight.... who's installed it, how's it sound? The demos on the page seem comparable to the real 8-voice on youtubes, over my high end blue tooth speaker... I got to wait until after work to install it.
