Honestly, if it has to be Clever Audio Plug-in then wouldn’t CAP be the obvious choice? CLAP just isn’t good… really, really not good. CRAP, FLAP, FLIP, FLOP, PLOP — all preferable and much less trouble in the long run.

Clever Audio Plug-in Extension: CAPE. Yes, weird, but Superman wears a cape and gets away with it. Even Superman wouldn’t go around talking about his CLAP.

Think it over, literally any other choice would likely be an improvement…

Of course being in Yarkshur I would never spend a lot of moneh on booits, but if I was to do so, then I would probably go here.

This. Just loose the L, problem solved. File extensions were 3 letters anyway...

Hmmmm…. would that be needlessly gendered? Would you need female bits as well given that VD can be transmitted by the plugin to all genders to which it has unprotected sex?

CLAP is a terrible name for a plugin format (and other general complaints about it)
