Thanks for suggestion regarding Georgia. There is a risk that they could block account/company belonging to a russian citizen at any moment. Euroclear already blocked my investments into US stocks. I am exploring options, suggestions are welcome!

I wish those involved would get thier sht in order and get back on track. Maybe someone needs to step in and buy the whole thing from both parties, like Zynaptiq did to defuse the Architect BS...install vidmate (https://get-vidmateapp.com/home/) get-mobdroapk.com (https://get-mobdroapk.com)

But it's generally based on Breeze 1, no?
what would be the bits that's not your IP?

B2 dsp core is indeed based on Breeze 1, which is a derivation of Aether, however it has been significantly enhanced by research done by Andrew plus he contributed much to dynamics/shaper section so exact replication would be problematic from legal standpoint.

As Mr. Souter seems to have no intention to support/update products the only viable solutions for users as I see it is that he returns all money he arrested from me and assigns all ownership to me. I developed 90% of the code base and I'm the only one who can really update and support products. In fact in january 2022 having no money from sales I was working on M1 support and expected completion date would be late string 2022.
I do not mind if a third-party buys out the whole stuff out but I doubt it would be possible to update products without me. If that was easy to do Mr. Souter could already have made updates by now given that he had a good amount of cash in his hands, and mystran could have helped him, but for some reasons that did not happen.

crypto would work for me2ca wrote: Thu Sep 08, 2022 4:30 am This is what I'm going to do. I can do Aether (and I can improve it) and variation of Breeze 1.x (which was a derivation of Aether's code).
I cannot do Breeze 2.x and Precedence which dsp/math was Andrew's RnD. To replace these I'd like to use 3D tech that I used in SpinAudio plug-ins back in yearly 2000's.
A replacement for Kaleidoscope will be an open programmable modular (not in traditional sense) synth that runs entirely on GPU. The corresponding GPU engine is 80% ready. This is how I wanted to implement KS in 2011 and I even made a proof-of-concept but unfortunetaly Andrew insisted on doing KS on CPU in his own way so he could sell his image/preset libs he already made for metasynth. He was so mad about KS that in 2017 he stopped sharing profits with me for months when I pushed working on long overdue reverb updates instead of his monstreous KS 2.0 project.
That was a first crack and a seed for later collapse.
I'm working on my new plug-in sdk. I do not want to use 2CAudio's as it has some of Andew's code and has a lot of legacy/old stuff so I want to switch to modern appoach with GPU based rendering.
The only problem is how to collect money. SWIFT is virtually non-working now for Russia. If the government approves using crypto for international payments then I can collect in crypto, but how many musicians use crypto now?

It wouldn't work for me and I bet neither would it for a lot of others...
but some trustworthy retailer could jump in as a middleman (Uncle E ?).

Good - I really dislike that dynamics section as it behaves weirdly - and also the shaper section is weird stuff to a large extent (and a huuuuuuge list with often non-descriptive names) - I bet you could do both better.2ca wrote: Thu Sep 08, 2022 2:24 pm B2 dsp core is indeed based on Breeze 1, which is a derivation of Aether, however it has been significantly enhanced by research done by Andrew plus he contributed much to dynamics/shaper section so exact replication would be problematic from legal standpoint.
I am sure you can likewise also improve the Breeze 1 code on your own well enough.
With B2 it's more the overall concept of the two semi-modular engines that are more that the sum of all their parts...
if you end up tackling it, please please let me alpha-test!

I don't know what other users think, but as far as I'm concerned I'd love to hear no more news about Mr Souter coming from Denis, but only his personal projects with us, customers.
Because I love his products and only wish him a good future. What is done is done and I must say this is none of my business. But I'd love to see more from him for sure.

Yes, I basically agree. I think I can imagine how hard it must be for Denis, but I think it's much better to concentrate on the future and practize positive-thinking...

Of course the story is heartbreaking but can go nowhere with us, customers. It’s just leaving us ill-at-ease as we can’t help in any way.
We are 2c audio’s and possibly former Spin Audio’s work (=plugins) lovers. This is how we can help for sure.

Funny, I keep thinking the same thing when I read this thread. I get that Denis is just trying to explain the current situation and I’m sure it must be frustrating, but I’m also more interested in seeing something positive come out of all of this.DJErmac wrote: Sat Sep 10, 2022 1:28 pm I don't know what other users think, but as far as I'm concerned I'd love to hear no more news about Mr Souter coming from Denis, but only his personal projects with us, customers.

I think Denis has nothing to justify to us. If everything goes right for all of us, it will be fine. I think we’ll trust who will prove to be the most trustable.
There’s no problem Denis, we’re with you, simply keep on doing what you’ve always been doing.

Can you figure out something with a VPN? There are other developers based out of Russia, maybe contact them see how they're managing it.
I'd be interested in a new verb, Breeze is great I have that and based on that I'd kick tires on some new reverbs.
