FWIW, I never received a confirmation email for the serial number but it was in my JRR shop account.

The issue doesn't seem to effect the Step sequencer modulator just the ARP.

Just started messing around, so far its v v good. Needs some distortion effects. Arp patterns are weird, is the arp pattern not customizable or am I dumb? I should read the manual.

Now I just wonder why JRR shop sales couldn't provide me with that information rather than keeping me waiting around for 24 hours

I got my Kult license for JRR immediately after purchase. If you have any issues with a retailer like JRR you are better of emailing them than posting in this forum, if you are looking for a solution.

I emailed JRR three times before posting here. I didn't get my activation code until I posted here and a kind KVR member provided a possible fix for the issue. FYI it has now been another 8 hours since I emailed JRR for the 3rd time. I have received no reply. YMMV

Glad I was not the only one who expected to be able to click and alter the arp pattern. I do not think it is able to be changed. Perhaps an feature request for Peter to consider.

Yes but we are not JRR. Posting here is not going to help you and fills up the thread with irrelevant posts. Don't do it. Wait for JRR. Your issue can not be solved with anyone but JRR. Thanks for your consideration moving forward.

Yea this is a great widget.
This dev is going to make something really new and exciting, once they nail down a unique control system...
All three of Dawesomes synths get at some very "new" sound, or at least chart different paths to the sounds. But, the control systems and gui are not quite there, imo. Still a bit wonky in use for anything bread or butter, which is usually the price to pay for bleeding edge stuff.

Did you email them back and let them know you have your activation code so they aren't wasting time trying to resolve your issue you have already resolved? It is 2 days before Christmas. These people are flooded right now.

Similar situation here with delayed code form JRR yesterday. They replied that they were waiting on the registration codes from Traction. Mine came through later last night. Good luck....

Some developers count on 'bread and butter' type sounds for a percentage of sales, but I specifically look to Peter at Dawesome because his instruments are ideal for exploring new and unheard of sounds. He's also had some very talented patch designers exploit his synth's strengths for interesting and exotic presets. Kult is another winner right out of the box. The sounds remind me a bit of Newfangled Audio's Generate.

The modern GUI has a clean, uncluttered look that goes well with the other Dawesome instruments. I would really like to get a solid MPE controller sometime in the new year. Using one with Kult, Abyss or Novum must be an amazing experience! Well done for a 1.0 release. Thank you Peter for being open to user feedback. All of my communications with you have been productive and cordial. I hope you enjoy continued success in 2023... Cheers!!

So I feel it is a beta, as most 1.0 releases are. The developer has now the opportunity to leave it like that or to make an isntrumkent out of it. I have seen many good concepts dying, Neuron, Thorn et al.

A general issue: With microtuning any instrument has millions of more sounds. I used Kult with the Entonal Studio, which a fellow from KVR hinted me and guess what, much better and unique sound are possible. It is all about frequencies and tunings, as the universe seems to be made out of frequencies.

Bread and butter sounds: I am working on it.

It just that he needs to post in the Bargain discussion thread. Uncle E is there frequently and can offer him advice/insight while he waits for support.
