Indeed. So f**king bored reading about BW, a DAW I don’t give a shit about, in Live threads, year after tragic year.HOTF wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2023 1:28 pm Fun to see another ableton thread turn into a Live vs Bitwig dick measuring contest.![]()

Just some kids trying (desperately) to get attention from the adults in the room.HOTF wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2023 1:28 pm Fun to see another ableton thread turn into a Live vs Bitwig dick measuring contest.![]()

You sound like the lady who nearly knocked me off my bike a few years ago and had the cheek to suggest I shouldn't be on the road as I didn't pay road tax.liquidsound wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2023 2:55 pmJust some kids trying (desperately) to get attention from the adults in the room.HOTF wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2023 1:28 pm Fun to see another ableton thread turn into a Live vs Bitwig dick measuring contest.![]()

I put her straight and told her that I did indeed pay road tax, on my car, and that didn't excuse her for her dangerous driving and poor attitude.
I did mention Bitwig in this thread, straightening out incorrect information. Which should be fine under any circumstances.
Given that I also do have an Ableton license, so surely that should allow me to post in an Ableton thread, no matter what I write, without being called an attention seeking child?

Try not to use the bike here
I own both as well and it happens to be about Ableton beta so I resist to compare the two. Tempting but not impossible.

Hi Andy! Thank you for your response. Much appreciated. Now I have to deal with anticipation hahaandy-cytomic wrote: Sun Apr 16, 2023 1:22 am The work I delivered a while back includes a bunch of stuff I've yet to see in any alpha or beta yet, so fingers crossed it will be added at some stage. The folks at Ableton are keeping busy, this stuff takes time.
Good luck with everything, I love your devices.

I wonder how far is Live 12 away. As long I can create M4L devices which work in Live 11, I am fine with version 10… Why people rave about such a simple synth like Drift is beyond me…
Anyway I would have to sell some add ons to be convinced to upgrade to an actual Live version in a forthcoming sale…

I think People like Drift because it sounds good, has a simple and intuitive workflow, and dosen't try to do everything. Like how many multi engines, do it all synth do you really need. When you got one or two of them it's probably enough.Tj Shredder wrote: Wed Apr 26, 2023 8:16 am I wonder how far is Live 12 away.
