In todays market of $€£29 synths 45 for this upgrade feels expensive.

Name me a $29 synth that sounds as good as Lush 2 cause seriously I would like to know.

He means from recent sales... impOSCar2 & Hyperion and the like, probably.

Well fair enough if you want to argue that Cherry Audios offerings are sub par in sound. However I have picked up three Softube Model series synths for £45ish each recently which were not upgrades. You can try querying the sound quality of those on KVR if you like but expect to be challenged.

Importing presets from Lush-101 is supported by drag and drop from Explorer/Finder, both individually or in bulk - nice touch.

But, they are imported into a single directory and can't be reorganised by folder because the browser does not support reading presets from sub-folders, which sucks donkey bits, imo.

You can tag imported presets though (in bulk too), and the tagging system allows the creation of new tags and tag groups (if a little clunkily). Which is all very nice and stuff, but having 3rd party presets mixed with my own in one folder is not a good thing.

FR - Ability to read presets from sub-folders, for the love of <insert deity or non-deity or whatever>

Also, a question for the devs. How does a preset designer create and package a preset bank now?

Layering synths in a DAW is way more practical, way easier, and way more flexible than doing it inside one plugin. Unless you get off on it like Mr. "I pre-generated a 6-hour generative music preset that you can't really use, but I just wanted to show off"...which now makes me wonder what am I going to do with a generative music expansion of pre-generated generative music.

or as mentioned a few posts back, for drums with individual outputs.

Dang, so happy to see this release. I wish more features were added, hopefully in time, they will come. I'm happiest about the osc reset - wahoo!

Bought it and happy to report it's much better on CPU, I pretty much couldn't use Lush v1 but no glitching or anything with v2. Oh yeah and it sounds really good.

Given so little has changed, this update is very expensive!

Layering synths in a DAW is way more practical, way easier, and way more flexible than doing it inside one plugin.

Multi layer synths are also a nightmare to try and control with a hardware controller as you'd have to create duplicate mappings for each layer which is just not realistic, particularly bearing in mind the fact that very few people actually use all those layers

Reminds me of the previous naming troubles that they had before this was even released. I can't remember if it was real or not but I believe an early name for the synth was actually SH101-TER
