Bitwig has GUI scaling settings that might interfere with JUCE's font rendering.

Could you try:
Go to: Bitwig Preferences → Display
Try adjusting "Scaling" (set to "100%" explicitly)
Disable OpenGL rendering

Maybe try in a different daw?

Already was at 100%

Absolutely no change. Yes, I reloaded the plugin.

Don't have another DAW, buy I tried in Reaper demo anyway. Same aliased GUI.
Seems like a bug in the plugin. It's not just me, you can find videos in this thread by others, where the issue is present.

Maybe anti-aliasing is not enabled or not working correctly in the JUCE framework?

There is an option in bitwig, but it’s in settings and it’s global. High dpi scaling or something like that. One setting keeps things sharp, but old plugins like absynth that don’t scale are tiny. Here you have to increase the plugin size from its default in high dpi screens. And with the other setting (can’t remember if it’s checked on or off), then plugins appear bigger by default and you don’t need to increase the plugins own size as much but they look blurrier. In Ableton you can adjust this per plugin but in bitwig it’s global. I found that annoying because for example to have older non-resizable plugins to be a workable size I had to have very blurry text on things like oddity 3 and some other newer synths like zyklop.

There is plugin scaling in the windows version of bitwig, right click the plugin in the browser and choose to stretch it to match dpi - enabling this is the browser should only affects one specific plugin rather than using the global toggle. I have no clue if this would resolve your problem but it's worth a test.

Thanks for the tip but it does nothing. My windows desktop and Bitwig both are at 100% scaling. That setting per plugin does nothing in this case. I may be wrong but this is a plugin/framework problem. As I wrote before, other users in this thread have the same problem, maybe they were not aware of the issue or does not bother them. The GUI or the fonts are simply not anti-aliased, it looks jagged at any size.

I explained why above. It can't be properly resized, not in Reaper at least.

Have you bothered to try and contact the dev (discord or his email address - as someone has already written above)?

I got on with other stuff and other vst's. I'm sure it's a lovely vst, but I haven't the time or energy to send DM@s and PM's. So you'll have to make do with internet outrage.

At least got the time to rant around on kvr, about a vst he doesnt even use. :?
