I received the order confirmation. It came right after I placed my order. I'll wait for a few more days before I contact them. Not really worried yet. It's just that seeing everyone getting theirs is making me a bit impatient.Shabdahbriah wrote: Tue Jan 21, 2025 8:12 pmNot even a 'confirmation' the order was received? You might want to contact them. They did say ships (typically) in 5-7 days.itanever wrote: Tue Jan 21, 2025 4:51 pm I'm feeling like a second rate citizen with everyone receiving their DS-2. I have gotten no updates since the morning of 16th when I placed my order. And I was in the pre-order list since it was first announced.But I guess I'll give it a few more days.

Hiya all..
It's been a long time since I was in here...
Too much GAS.. too much temptation ..
I've only bought maybe 5 modules over the last 3 years or so.
And stopped looking in modular grid.. that's not healthy for me.. know what I mean.. (nah, mr wabbit wont
)
However.. sometimes a module is born that is just talking to you..
nah.. some even shout.. "I'm yours.. I'm yours for the taking"
And so Priscilla from TINRS announced a new module and video...
I'm not a big reverb fan, only having a QuadraVerb (with the reverb mix very low)..
but I rather fancy the way they have deconstructed reverb and produced Bopp&Steve
This I find totally inspiring and can't wait to have one in my sweaty hands.

I bought a used KORG OpSix (in mint condition) over the phone this evening. I had "borrowed" it for xmas/new year, and tonight the previous owner called to say he's skint and wants to sell it.
Second FM synth I've bought recently.
Dunno where I'm gonna put it yet. Will need to re-arrange my rack (ooer missus).

Yay! My DS-2 arrived. Picked up a call from an unknown number this morning and it was the UPS man saying he'll arrive in 5 minutes. Good thing I was working from home today.

Anyway, the DS-2 is absolutely lovely. Really like the sound so far, it has dirt in all the right places. Crank the volume knob up and it can get pretty wild. And though obviously limited the feature set is well thought out. Might have to get the filters that they announced as well. The only downside I see so far is that it's yet another step closer to dipping my toes into eurorack.
