I am blown away that NI still thinks being silent and sneaky about its upcoming ideas and projects is the right thing to do at this point. lol

I just want to confirm something. Is this a real thing or just typical KVR speculation? I don't want to get my hopes up for this and end up being disappointed.

It's not yet officially confirmed, but imo it's also not "typical KVR speculation".

If it's easier, think about Black Friday until it's officially confirmed.

There is a picture of absynth 6 page in that magazine/book and NI reps have been talking about bringing back an old beloved synth. Plus EvilDragon has basically confirmed it. So yeah it’s real.

I'll throw some pure speculation into this just for fun.

Hoping Absynth 6 brings direct integration with NI's Kontrol MK3 keyboards on par with how Kontakt is now directly integrated. Eliminating the need for using Komplete Kontrol 3, which is in a sad state of development.

Really nice if NI will be updating an old plugin. I miss the days of NI doing so much innovative and high quality plugin work, I haven’t been able to get myself to upgrade Komplete in quite a while as that’s really my major interest
