ah well... since you have dedicated a whole thread to it
abreaktor: downtempo, drony, in the 100 bpm league; otoh, droning minimal things around 125 bpm. with mostly dirty sounds and subpar mixing.
sounds like: hard to say. i am not a great music buyer, the last album i bought was bill evans "my foolish heart" a year ago ><. my danceable tracks try to sound like some romboy or einmusik track plus more dirt, the downtempo stuff is just that, i guess: downtempo.
since i restarted 2 weeks ago with producing things, i am amazed that quite a lot of other musicians dont seem to find it too bad. especially on soundcloud, which seems to be a great platform anyway, and my songs sound better there. i would love to have some feedback, especially specific remarks on certain parts (which you can do at soundcloud)
so, have fun!
regards, alex
edith: just finisehd a new song and had a f*dkton of fun making it. i just LOVE what you can do with today's tools and instruments. called "BINGE", should be first track on either link. enjoy!
