One quick solution would be to simply add a "group" identifier to the phrase container. For example, if I want to link two phrase containers, I just make sure they have the same group name. Then, when regenerating a selected phrase container, the generator randomly chooses a phrase out of that container, then cascades and updates all other phrase containers that share the same group name, selecting the phrase with the same index in those phrase containers. Thus you could create a 1-1 relationship between containers.

Hmm... I am thinking that the number of total phrases can vary among the different phrase containers within a phrase container group. So what do you think the behavior should be when the randomly selected index of any phrase container (i.e. the numerator) within a group of phrase containers exceeds the count (i.e. the denominator) of another phrase container in the same group?

I suppose the generator could randomly select an index number between 1 and the MINimum denominator of all phrase container denominators (kind of like the lowest common denominator).

Whatever phrase container you select to regenerate would be the master, and thus it would be 1..N where N is the number of phrases in that specific container. In the event that other containers have less than N, then just pick N. It is up to the user to ensure that the grouping feature works as intended by ensuring the phrases line up properly.

I like your suggestion of adding a "group" identifier to phrase containers. Instead of a master-slave relationship, this would mean equal ranks among phrase containers.
It can be easily handled when the number of phrases differ in the containers.

How could this be forgotten? Thanks, it is added to the to-do list. Euclidean rhythm could be added very quickly. I just need to finish the next beta version.

I have an app on my iPad called Wilsonic that uses this these scales and it has a really beautiful sound and I think would also be a brilliant add to you already awesome program and would offer it such a brilliant depth, especially if this, Euclidean and the normal musical Scales system (not sure what the name of the current scales system is called) could some how work together in a musical way. Sorry I am not a musician in the knowledgable sense so don't know if it would work or not.

Wouldn't you guys like to be able to draw (legit DRAW) automation for your RC tracks? While you can use the mouse to input midi values (0-127) for stuff such as panning and velocity.... what I hate is that you can't hold the mouse button and just DRAG the values up and down as you drag left to right... such as creating an easy "pan left and right" envelope.... nearly all the DAWs (especially Reaper) can do this. Hoping Attila will implement, being as we're in version 3 now.

works for CC lanes and Velocity (Note Editing Mode).
only Variation parameter automation lane missing this menu

Right, freehand is not implemented in normal envelopes, only with MIDI controllers. It will be added later.

I see. "Freehand Replace Mode" is what I was looking for, with the MIDI controller set (Pan, for instance). That's the "draw" tool I was looking for.

I would like to suggest to do "Freehand" assigned to different functions (pan is certainly well), such as "Freehand set mode - Track Variations - Simplify Phrase" ... And I draw the level of complexity of phrases!
By the way Envelope Phrases I also propose to make as "Freehand mode " !

Yes, lulukom, this is my dream too. I expect that in one of the major updates (v3.2 or v3.3) complete percussion support will be added, which is very limited at the moment. Including drum maps, creating percussion patterns, modifying existing patterns by applying variations....

currently i was trying my Melody Generator presets via experimenting parameters according to Chris's MG video tutorial tips...
about the After Leap, Step, Movement etc...
and i realized if we have something like "lock current settings" (except the rhythm) option,
would wonderful while replacing MG via "infinity chain" ..
