davestretch wrote: Fri Jan 07, 2022 5:38 am The Liquidsonics Plugins use Pace Fusion - their Public Betas are out now and worked Natively in Reaper but not in Logic. Seems that the AU hosting tool that Logic uses causes an issue at Activation of the iLok Plugin being launched and forces Logic to quit.

The reason I mention this is that these plugins were authenticated using the current iLok Licence Manager 5.4.1 app to gain authorisation and I checked again that this is running as an Intel process and does not have the option of running in Native or Rosetta. So, it may not need an update (although I'm sure it will be coming) before companies can utilise Native builds for most DAWs until the Logic issue is sorted out.
The beta native Seventh Heaven is working perfectly on my computer (Logic, Studio One, Monterey, M1 Max). I have read that there are issues with people using Big Sur tho...
Yes, I think it may be Big Sur related. Not updating to Monterey yet as too many 3rd party plugins are having issues from what I've read. Have you found any issues using PA, Slate, Soundtoys, etc?
I don’t use anything by Slate but everything is running well on my system native or not.
I just pray that everything becomes native soon since there is clearly a strange and difficult to measure penalty on using the Au compatibility wrapper

** EDIT ** Seems the downloads are not yet available to download on their webpage, d16 have uploaded the changelog but not the downloads yet.

d16 has updated their entire silverline of plugins to VST3 and ARM M1 native. They have also added HiDPI support and improved the GUI.

On the download page the new versions are not yet listed (e.g. Antresol lists as 1.2.1, but click on Changelog and you will find the release notes for 1.3.0):
https://d16.pl/downloads

The following plugins have been updated to ARM Native M1 and VST3:

Antresol
Decimort 2
Devastator 2
Fazortan 2
Frontier
Godfazer
Redoptor 2
Repeater
Spacerek
Syntorus 2
Tekturon
Toraverb 2

If you copy the download link and edit the dmg filename you can get the new versions. (for example change Antresol-1.2.1.dmg to Antresol-1.3.0.dmg). Check the changelogs for the updated version number.

Hmmm....do I want to risk it though in case there's a reason they haven't officially updated the download page (i.e. last minute bugs)?

But thanks for the tip!

EDIT: no need for the above. The downloads have been officially posted on that page.

Hey man, this is cool, so to get Logic to mix and match native and non-native plugins I guess you’d run it in Rosetta mode after installing non-native plugins, then after that run it in native mode?

No this happens automatically

When Logic in native mode scans, it identifies plugins that are non-native and does the right thing. However, there is a problem that happens when you update a non-native plugin to native. Logic doesn't pick up the change, and still loads the old binary through some sort of caching mechanism. Sometimes you have to force a rescan of that plugin, and reboot.

Really interesting, and good to know guys, thanks. Luckily I don’t think I’ve updated any non-native plugins yet, so I’m glad you mentioned this before I did! Cheers :)

the latest Nepheton and Drumazon are crashing Cubase 11 (latest version) on Monterey (latest version), from scanning through their site it appears they don't officially support Monterey yet. Godfazer works though :)
This is the M1 macbook pro 10 core by the way.

...they're not in the blacklist, they just crash instantly upon loading.
Crashing Cubase 9.5 on the same machine too.

So what's the deal with iLok?
I read that M1 support was supposed to become available around November of last year.
A lot of plugins are waiting on that.

If PACE can't deliver, it may be time for developers to ditch iLok. The industry runs on Mac.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

i just installed iLok and it's at least running... not native though i think

Anyone sucessfully get Drumatic 4 out of the blacklist in Cubase on M1 macbook running Monterey?
It says contact developer and i select "Open Anyway" from the Security and Privacy tab but it's doing nothing.
quite a few casualties so far, to be expected i guess

SHITEBALLS almost couldn't get FirComp2 out of quarantine, that would have been a disaster.
Need to run the .command file... so i'm assuming Drumatic 4 needs one of these command actions also, is it possible i can edit this FirComp2 .command for Drumatic 4?... i'll give it a bash

Just have Decimort and the Freebie Frontier from D16 and both new versions run fine here in Logic (Monterey)
MacMini M2 Pro MacOS Tahoe ……… Reason 14
