Checked with the devs and I'm informed that any generator group that has distortion or audio rate modulations already get automatically oversampled.

Good to know, PP lacking this was just a rumor then.

I think a "proudly digital" concept stands or falls by respecting the sampling theorem.

Would be interesting to know where this rumour came from... first we've heard of it!

To be fair, I don't think our literature states anything about oversampling and there's no on/off button for it, it's just built in where necessary. Maybe we should stick something about it on the product page!

Yes I think that's a good idea for the nerds in your audience, especially if it goes into more detail than just "has oversampling". I actually think Serum used it as a selling point from day one...

When it's hard to find information I guess I end up taking forum posts too seriously. I also checked developer interviews and because anti-aliasing challenges were never brought up I thought they were maybe just ignored like in other software.

Besides oversampling, I wonder if the (complex) oscillators are band limited?

Yes. That comment was plain wrong and I'm not sure why they felt they could say that with such apparent certainty. Another good reason for us to put that info on the product page! The website is due a bit of an update tbh.

Not sure if you use Discord but the Kilohearts server is really active and full of people who know their stuff, including the devs if you have any nerdy questions for them. There's a link in my footer down there...

Latest version is crashing Logic validation tool for me (I'm on Mohave so still using Logic 10.5.1)

Try the current (new) installer. It solved that problem for me.
