I've never seen anyone being apparently so keen to rapidly dig his own grave... I am watching Dirk's antics in awe.

What shocked me is that PA was surprised about the reactions for all of this. I mean, why didn’t they simply first ask some of their customers what they thought?
I’m not even looking at their new plugins now as I’m not interesting subs, and the pricing for perpetual licenses is ridiculous compared to the sub. The days of selling plugins for hundreds of dollars each is over.

If I subscribe to that and stop paying at some stage will my GAS be back-dated?

No it only works if don't take out a subscription and decide that because you won't do that you won't buy any more stuff.
Taking out a sub lets the GAS build up, resulting in an unfortunate explosion some way down the line.

They don't ask customers. They ridicule them (or more properly, Di*k ridicules them... and in exchange he gets religious praise). Just check some of Di*k's posts such as the famous Batman slapping a customer who is asking about the voucher being late or his response to somewhat stating that something didn't work in Reaper, "Tell Reaper to fix it." I mean, just as professional as an oncologist telling a patient "you're about to kick the bucket, read a book about living and dying and suck it up."mixtur.se wrote: Mon Aug 05, 2019 3:24 pm What shocked me is that PA was surprised about the reactions for all of this. I just use ones I've already purchased and feel just fine. Change is change. Who cares?

62 pages of building a decent lynch mob and you have to come in and say something like that. There's a time and place for everything but this wasn't it. Please start your own thread for not caring and not hating on Di*k. (Reported your post... Nothing personal, just trying to keep the forum clean.)

After only ever getting a $25 voucher, this month I get $50, even though I haven't bought stuff for a while. A little sweetener perhaps?

Or perhaps a generous loyalty discount? I got my first $50 voucher in July this year. Very welcome. YMMV.ians wrote: Wed Aug 07, 2019 1:19 pm After only ever getting a $25 voucher, this month I get $50, even though I haven't bought stuff for a while. A little sweetener perhaps?![]()
