no one is getting f**ked over, there is a solution in the works
would it have been better to just make that and no be here yes, but we have it here, in writing from an ni enployee, who is here speaking for ni, that we have been heard.
if there was a time for alarm (which i personally think is an excessive reaction, but i cant control how others over react to things...) it is passed.
of course, if they dont come through with said solutuon, then we can kill and eat matt.

in the works, sure.... when it arrives ppl can turn the alarm off... until then, the pressure has to stay (after all, they were quite happy to continue with the f**k over until they got a lot of neg publicity and were virtually strong armed into finding a solution)

Vurt, not sure how you would feel when you hear that you libraries worth over 600$ can't be used in the future anymore just because the CP is old. It's a reasonable reaction to moan about such behavior.
The idea that it's ok to do this feels like a typical business driven decision without love for the product.
Audio is a niche area and companies and users have to treat each other well.

i just think "alarming" was a little strong.
im an ni customer and have been for many years,so yes, i want some confirmation that this wont effect future products and will be sorted for offline activation for the list alresdy made.
my point was matt has given us the progress, lets see where that goes.
and it is made more difficult with the current situation i imagine. no point working ourselves up over it, the pressure of being cooped up is enough without that!

but we dont need to be raising false alarms either, sorry if you dont agree but I think it was the right call to dial back the tone on the title especially with Matt coming in and doing all he has done.AnX wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2020 7:22 pm in the works, sure.... when it arrives ppl can turn the alarm off... until then, the pressure has to stay (after all, they were quite happy to continue with the f**k over until they got a lot of neg publicity and were virtually strong armed into finding a solution)
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
