Feature request how about if we can move the notes in the grid from the arp just the same way in the drum sequencer by pressing and holding command on a mac I know we can use the humanize but that would be great if not maybe on the new real sequencer this could be possible

Took advantage of the sale prices and wow. This is quite nearly an entire daw in a synth!! CPU hungry, but wow what a sonic landscape

I would like to use Avenger as a Drum Computer.
Is there a preset that sets all parameter for all other to zero, so there is "no" CPU usage for the oscillator of the synth ?
I deleted all effects, so i can use sometimes an effect for the snare.

I'd be interested to know if Avenger is multi-core capable. I rather have the feeling that is not so.
There are sounds that bring my CPU almost to the limit.

Similar I have with the UVI - Falcon, which has also no multicore - support.

With HALion it is different, if I activate multicore there, the CPU consumption is low even with complex sounds. Therefore it would be nice if Avenger would get Multicore support as well.

Another request on the Drums please add another kick slot or a maybe if you do a different sequence on part b we can add different drums so we can have different drum kick and snares especially in making reggaeton there are different drums in the song thank you for your hard work and making it easy for use to do what we love to do. PS please make a reggae expansion

Post

Yeah, I noticed as well that CPU usage is rather large on some type of sounds...

Multicore is a must nowadays....

I dont know enough to offer any kind of explanation but I'm pretty sure I've seen Urs from uhe say that having a proper mod matrix creates complications with multicore compatibility. That could be why...

Ive never felt Avenger was cpu hungry though. At least not compared to other workhorse synths that can offer those big complex patches

Came across this (Avenger walk-through, seriously blown away):

Wow.... a 5 hour tutorial.
Bookmarking that. Thanks rj0 :tu:

That's indeed a great video as a sort of visual manual. If anybody ever doubted the synthesis power of Avenger they should watch that video.

It is _ridiculous_ how powerful of a synth Avenger is.

yes its really quite cool... althought there are some little mistakes... just scrubbed a bit through and he says each sample layer in the stacker must share the same sample start offset, which is not true, He forgot the Sample shifters... or he said the density in the granular represents the grain length, which its not. Furthermore the whole video is in mono, so all stereo effects show no audible change at all.

Post

Yeah, even if some mistakes, awesome video, thx for mentioning.

@msvs - does Avenger support multicore or not?

Hi, sorry for asking again (cannot find old answer in here): How can I do a 100% keyfollow on the peak filters of the shaper "eq only" mode? I want to do this with both peaks, offset by a fixed amount. Later I would also to modulate that offset. If I set it to 100% in mod matrix, it will be not linear or logarithmic? or so...?
