Hey - Look what I found!

http://patcharena.com/component/option,com_frontpa ge/Itemid,1/
hooooooly cow!! :D
the patcharena back in action??!!!
LOVELY discover, Integratron! :tu: thx for the heads up

EDIT goddamn my memory i CANT remember which email addy i gave with my damn account login :P

about the MaxxClaster eJ
its supposed to be the payware ancestor of Toxic, so i doubt Maxx Claster will ever release that discontinued one as freeware sadly..:(
i think, unless you're very lucky and you find someone who didn't upgrade to Toxic when the latter got released (as there have been an upgrade bargain for previous eJ users, when it happened), there are no way to still find it around "legally"
some weeks ago there was a kvr user looking for Bazzoid, tho, and it got lucky enough to find another one selling it right a week after or so..so i'd post a WTB msg on MarketPlace or take a look around, anyway you may choose :P
must admit though, that those old ones by MaxxClaster were rather spicey creatures, and IMO some of the best cheap payware synths in the old time market..proof of the dev's skillz, after all, is Toxic about getting the 4th reincarnation :D

sweet!! Odo has always been good and generous so lets wait and see ;D
BTW if someone ask to the developers directly the permission, can he eventually also point out if we are allowed to share it also on the yahoo group archive, if its not too much hassle? that way we will have a non expiring link always available to preserve the stuff and forward it to the newcomers willing to be vst archeologists :D
thx guys :)

Odo's stuff is awesome, have you heard Unknown2? He recently posted that here, that thing is great.

Micro-W is a good one that he no longer hosts.

yeah definitely i agree on both, Odo rocks :)

BTW actually, believe it or not, some old VSTis that are hosted back again by some developers wouldnt be there still if not to connections made during this thread, since the dev had lost the source files...
this thread is starting to work definitely in the right direction, ie preserving the vst archeology for the future generations!! :P
lol
its all good

Tweakbench rules;
check this out
http://www.tweakbench.com/archives

he much requested archive section is now open! i have dug throught a ton of my old backup discs to pull out 48 old builds of plugins, including some limited release stuff, and some old rarities! there are still a few that i haven't been able to locate, but this should be a huge help to anyone who is trying to work on an old song and are hitting issues with verison conflicts. every plugin will now get archived whenever they're updated. these are absolutely UNSUPPORTED, and used at your own risk etc etc. i'm only offering documentation and support on the CURRENT plugins. enjoy!

probably old news, but still wicked cool.

as for Odo:

Hi Jimi
Here it is :) Maybe i'll upload my old plugins soon

amen all dat.

if anybody needs any of the stuff i've accumulated or mined so far so they can re-release missing or lost plugs, let me know.
maybe we should open a VST museum/library/lending library.

i mean, just something to think about in cases where it's cool to do so.
cuz man, i'd hate to think how so many of these most excellent little synthies would be lost to the sands of time in the flotsam of the internet.

again, thanks to all!!!!!!
