So what exactly will second time buyers get? I'm only interested in maybe two other xpansion tanks as the others really don't fit my needs. So I can't really justify a second purchase despite the price. Also is there any chance that more xpansion tank options will be made available. I've been looking for a nice brass library.Squids wrote:

You really can get a LOT for less than $100 in this by joining twice.

The Latin Packs would also be a good addition!oiramo wrote:Also is there any chance that more xpansion tank options will be made available. I've been looking for a nice brass library.

i just made a pop demo for the hip hop pack, but i get a hanging note in the render. i also get hanging notes when i stop playback after i have about 10 tracks and 1 instance of st. maybe traction 2 is to blame, but i can't post the demo until i record from the sound card. it's past my bedtime, so i'll do it later.
the sounds in the hip hop pack are vintage, so i made a loose and older sounding demo. the set's not geared toward disney pop. i think you need nexus for that. lately i've appreciated the subtly in modern pop. i need to find some sounds to experiment with

Looking forward to hearing the demo! Hope you get those problems solved.androidlove wrote:i just made a pop demo for the hip hop pack, but i get a hanging note in the render. i also get hanging notes when i stop playback after i have about 10 tracks and 1 instance of st. maybe traction 2 is to blame, but i can't post the demo until i record from the sound card. it's past my bedtime, so i'll do it later.

I'm considering buying it 3 times.. 3x5 = 15.
15 packs for 120€ is just 8€ per expansion! (+ the specials!)
That is dirt cheap even if there's only one killer patch per expansion that I'd use!
(..and if it ever goes up to 6 for 1, then it get even cheaper per expansion, just 6,70€ per expansion. Sick!)
I'm finding that the xpansions aren't the most tediously sampled stuff I've heard, not like the samples in my Roland Fantom G that the lab rats at Roland Japan have sampled with white coats and gloves on, but instead the Sonic Reality samples have character and soul, so even with the occasional glitch or oddity, it still is valuable stuff for my music.

Indeed.Jesse J wrote:...but instead the Sonic Reality samples have character and soul...
I have relied on Sonic Reality sound libraries and the main SampleTank Library (which contains numerous instruments sampled by Sonic Reality) for more than 6 years now. I wouldn't want to be without them. I use SampleTank in every single project.

only 83 left- wow- could it happen today?? Posted about it on the Logic group at Apple.
FYI- I am working on my own little preset updates to the Cinematik pack. I will gladly post them when I am done (basically tweaking the existing child presets to my own liking- increasing the volume where needed- adding some tube warmth- fixing sustain- enabling stretch where it sounds better). Where could one post it that would be accessable to everyone that wants it?
