I have a weird relationship with Cubase. I started using it back in the 90s on Atari (I think it was like, Cubase 2 or something). Had every version up to Pro 10, but version 9 really put me off. I don't like the new visuals at all, and I find parts of the program to be way too cluttered/busy now. Still, it's amazing with the rack plugin. Nice compromise. Now if only it had automation like Reason'sTHE INTRANCER wrote: Fri Oct 18, 2019 8:38 pmDon't forget I mentioned Reaper and Cubase for balance... and I hate Reaper in so many ways.. Yes absolutely. Alt click, create automation. Every bit of automation in its own little clip, virgin territories. A breeze to use compared to cubase which I find rather finnicky.

Define “just upgraded”. You might be able to get a free upgrade to 11 if it was bought within a certain time frame.

Mattias, are Deals of The Week ever coming back? Suite wasn't a deal for those who already had most of the devices included...

Slightly OT, but just wanted to say sir that I am a huge fan of your Groove3 Tutorials for Cubase and Reason. professional, succinct and you generally find a way of showing me something new, or an angle I hadn't thought of, even in the general basic tutorials.chimp_spanner wrote: Thu Oct 24, 2019 3:07 pmI have a weird relationship with Cubase. I would prefer to purchase effect and instruments separately. It would be even better deal for developer

Ok, trying the Reason 11 Demo. Why the h*ll can't I find the Drum Sequencer and Umpf Club Drums devices? Is the Demo restricted to Standard edition and no Suite devices?

Have you tried just installing the demo of both Drum Sequencer and Umpf Club Drums to see if they show up in your trial? You're doing the free 30-day trial of Reason 11, right? Not "demo" mode?krixa wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2019 11:15 pm Ok, trying the Reason 11 Demo. Why the h*ll can't I find the Drum Sequencer and Umpf Club Drums devices?
