Dude you are really being arrogant. VERY.SoulState wrote:ZenPunkHippy wrote:Yes, it is obvious.SoulState wrote: Those who want to use some other synth to create non-Roland sounds will do that.
But i see no point of just exactly copying all architecture and controls, why not to go some further and add some extra veatures like fast env's? In one click "old Roland" becomes modern synth beast with his "Roland" sound character, but way more versatile.
I just tired from never ending "analog emulations" of same old synths. If you want an old synth - just go and buy it.
I looking in future, but future is covered with a gloom...
For instance - many people do see point in buying exact emulation. Many people are not tired of analog emulations.
Just in the same way as you say if you want old synth you buy it (yeah like we will really do nothing until you say us to buy - thanks for insight)
i can say - if you want something different with more snap in envelopes then - buy something else. No instead of that you are more free to claim that we are all funny and we don't know what is a synth with faster envelope (come on)..
Really it's bizarre how you are ditching this synth just because envelope architecture does not suit your mood or taste. It's like i am ditching and saying my complete future house is crap because one window on it is 2 cm shorter and i can't live in it because sunlight at some point won't get inside house like it would if window was 2cm wider
In case you did not noticed noone is forcing you to buy this synth and by the plenty of soundcloud demos it seems that you are really nicely covered there(actually i am shocked that you are of those who claim if you want synth xy then buy it but then you have all supposedly best analogue emulators in your computer some of which are literally inspired by old instruments and filters in them - completely weird).
Pretty naturally shocked. I assume dev's have some really really hard time to please everyone in these days..
