I was in from the beginning, with every upgrade along the way.
Stuff was steeper back then, too.
I did make a lot of money with it, though (millions as a consultant with my KARMA degree and award... oh, wait... that's someones else).
Let's just say I made all that back and then some, and I'm really more put out about my time investment and skill development losses, especially with no suitable replacement still to date.
Luckily, I do way more DAW than editor intensive work these days... when I work, that is.
Yes, back to Camel Audio.
It sucks.

I really did buy Peak when it first came out and all the upgrades/add-ons after that, including the very last upgrade... just to get its successor, which was never released.

The grief turns to anger. They don't suck. They're nice guys, good guys, but they still have to operate in a nasty world. I don't see much point moaning about losing money in this game. If I thought about how much I've spent on kit that is now obsolete and worthless I'd crack up.
