@ZeePok nope, that doesn't resize it either.

Better yet, created two video's showing what I mean:FathomSynth wrote:RPH, I'm having trouble recreating these two bugs:
1. When inserting RSH does not work at first.
When I first drop the RSH modulator on the filter cutoff it modulates it fine without having to touch anything.
2. When change to cycles and go back to beats stuck on cycles.
When I flip the dial back to beats it goes to beats fine.
Could you send me more exact steps so I can recreate.
Thanks!

RPH Thanks for the Videos, I think I can see now what the problems are.
Hey do you have any more presets for the release?

Maybe a few, need to make new ones. How much time do I have?
PS:
- Found another bug, the release isn't working in the ADSR component.
Tested the same action in the current stable release, there it works as expected.
- The envelope sustain acts funny when I move it right across a thick line, it moves the release point.
Not sure if this is intended?

Merry Christmas everyone!
Okay, all is well with the resize issue I was having. I uninstalled and reinstalled FL and now Fathom resizes as intended.

RG, OK, Good News.
I just sent out the Windows Beta Update which should fix all known issues.
The full release will be later this week.

I am very impressed with the process of introducing a feature, testing, and releasing a stable version in such a short time. Fathom has reached a very stable point on my system and this process keeps it that way.
Kudos to all involved.

Great, thanks for fixing the reported bugs!
I think I may have a new one to report, bipolar mode on the cutoff of a filter is not responding as I would expect.
When I do the same with e.g. the reso knob it works fine.
Tested it with the RSH and LFO component on a second order LP and HP filter.

Cheers,
Rob

Cool little Synth - What a gem. This thread here, the developers responsiveness to feature request and bug reports, is vita, the Videos...I bought this littel gem just now...
May I suggest some things:
Community please NOTE: Please don't get mad about my suggestions. I'm just thinking loud and as I wrote - I bought the synths minutes ago. Usually if my brain starts to work, bringing up suggestions it's a sign for me, that I personaly see a lot of potential...I wouldn't bother commenting if not. And I know, that I won't get this features soon. And probably it's just my experience with modulars like the Pulsar/Scope Modular that's still ideling in my system (http://scope.zone/index.php?id=1373&lg=de)
Here we go:
1.) Today I would call it a semi-modular synth. What is missing to modular synths is for instance that you can use a OSC as modulator to Cutoff, i.e. in general that Modulators are modules with wires as the sound generators...I know this would be just too much for the price asked for. Bu think of a an LFO at audio rate modulating the filter cutoff
2.) Another thing that could probably by a nice add on for version 2 would be little helper modules like an adder, subtract, ring mod, am, mixer, etc...I was thinking of having a OSC routed to two different filters (split/parallel) in parallel and then combined into for instance a ring mod or any other module that combines some sources
3.) Finaly a really cool thing would be feedback, for instance routing a OSC back into the signal path...With this feature, users could recreate a Brian Eno Shimmer Effect with only a Reverb, a Pitch Shifter and as mentioned the feedback loop...(see valhalla shimmer and his blog about hwo Eno Shimmer works)

RPH, You still have another day, I will probably do one more day of testing tomorrow and release Friday, I know you must have some more killer presets sitting in your folders somewhere!
Scrubbing Monkeys is working on a completely new bank, and his new wave tables will be released a week after the release.
The Cutoff range looks broken but it’s because the cutoff dial has a nonlinear range. Lower frequencies cover more of the dial range. I had to do it that way or tuning the cutoff between 100 and 1K is impossible. So the same bipolar mod range covers more of the lower dial to the left than the upper dial to the right. What is really needed is to tune the bipolar range logarithmically depending on the frequency which I have not done yet.
Peter, It’s great to have you aboard. Some great suggestions:
1. Oscillators as modulators have been requested by many, so that is on my list. Keep in mind that the oscillator envelope and modulator envelopes can create exactly the same shapes, so once I update all the modulators to do audio level modulating at the cycle level, there might not be much point in making oscillators modulators.
Patching from inside components would indeed be nice but I have not figured out how to work that into the interface. Intra-modular synths are able to do that because the pages don’t change that much, but Fathom has so many panels.
2. Utility components for splitting, mixing and connecting stuff is on the list for sure. I really want to do an audio in component so you could route the host through the Fathom effects, but I have not yet figure out if that is supported by VST, I think AAX does.
3. Feedback through components is a great idea. I will add that to the list. Currently it is outlawed to prevent exploding loops, but I could put in some safe guards and then turn it back on.

No pressure at all!FathomSynth wrote:RPH, You still have another day, I will probably do one more day of testing tomorrow and release Friday, I know you must have some more killer presets sitting in your folders somewhere!
I had three cool new ones, but went out of bed real early today to build some more.
If all goes well I'll PM you the set before friday begins.
Three bug reports:
1: copy function is not always working.
The first basic wave component isn't seen, after adding another basic wave component that one does appear..
2: I assign cutoff / reso to the XY pad, then save a patch. When I load the patch the XY setting doesn't sound like I saved it, but the position is correct.
When I then move the XY pad a little it sounds like how it was saved.
3: While building a new patch, with three noise sources I noticed the LFO modulators are gone.
I saved the patch, then reload Fathom and the created patch. And the Modulators are back again.
