I'm just going to dedicate the rest of my posts in this thread to making fun of stupid shit Zeisner says.

AI is great for funny memes, no doubt.

pdxindy wrote: Sat Feb 28, 2026 7:16 pm Ace Studio 2.0 is easily affordable. Even the Pro version is only $22/month (purchase plan). Lots of people spend more than that on DAW and Plugin purchases.
The full price is $528 and even though it says "$22/mo.", it also says "Billed yearly" on the same page. Which one is it? I suppose you own the software after 2 years?

I correct myself - you're not able to hear any artifacts.

Zeisner wrote: Sun Mar 01, 2026 8:27 pm I'm just tired of those "AI is already on par with top quality production" comments.
I didn't say that.
Well, you added it later on. Let me guess - 65? 70? For the hearing damage statistics...

I correct myself - I can only produce crap results with lots of artifacts and I blame it on the tools.
Here, I fixed that to an actual correction

With the hearing damage being the least of your problems...

I bet my 67 year old soldier's ears can hear a lot more in a busy mix than yours.

Ace Studio doesn't seem to have any heavier genre styles which is a bummer. No "Metal" category at all and the Rock category has only four male voices and they all sound meh. I guess heavy/metal doesn't exist to them but they have all these weird pop/hop/hip/whatever categories.

Give it time. None of them had anything close to EBM or Industrial in 2024 but that changed towards the end of last year.

Of course. Offering all genres/styles and all mixtures of those is simply impossible, just like realistic sounding voices and instruments.

Yup... it's all developing very fast. Not just Genres, but the quality as well.
