I don't think there should any issue with that normally. The Java runtime will be used by the browser only when there is a java applet on a particular page.

Anyway you should be able to completely disable the java plugin in your browser options somewhere.

Sorry if I caused any confusion, it is a list of stuff I can't find.
I'm not in a hunger for them. Just testing this google spreadsheet thing.
Ultimately to have a list of everything, and where possible links.

It's a trial run. I'd be happy with the name of the .dll.
Don't waste too much time over it. I just didn't want to waste space here.

Hi my old twitter account uproar24 has alot of old and newish weblinks to free vst developers databases and a few forums. if you have a weblink or website that old and doesn't work try it on the internet archives, waybackmachine sometimes downloads still work if the link is still availible. sucess rate is about 20%
