Obvious this was a pre-yacht photo. If you look on the other side of the washer, there's the tails of discarded 224 chassis. Or pocket lint.

It might be dead flies. A rat crawled into the walls and died. The only clue that this had happened was the hundreds of green flies that showed up in the basement. It was like The Amityville Horror.

I really don't miss that house.
