Maybe you can request a refund.perfumer wrote: Sun Sep 22, 2019 7:30 am Just went to the vember audio site at github, and on the About page, it says that Claes is too busy with other projects. It doesn't say who Vember Audio is today, or who is working on Surge. So that's quite an introduction of a team/product. Makes me really want to use it. Not.
Vember Audio Surge is now open-source

Thank you.baconpaul wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2019 12:53 pm Alright we just released 1.6.2.1 which contains a few fixes, including fixing an MPE feature that never worked, addressing some menus, fixing a crash on Linux. https://surge-synthesizer.github.io as always
We have a small list of small bugs and a big list of feature ideas, but the only big bug we have unresolved is midi controllers and pitch wheels in cubase with the VST3. We fully intend to try and fix that in an upcoming release.
Enjoy

Hey folks.
We just released Surge 1.6.3. The primary change with this version is we fixed a wide variety of midi mapping problems in the VST3 layer which made the synth work unreliably with Cubase. We are particularly grateful to the folks at Steinberg who provided us with test licenses to Cubase so we could debug the problems in Surge. There are also a few other changes in the effects, some new patches, and some other small changes all detailed in the changelog.
As always, https://surge-synthesizer.github.io/ is where you can find the latest. I'm updating home-brew now for mac users too.
Best way to get bug reports to us is open a GitHub issue or drop a note on slack, but we all look at various forums and stuff too.
Finally: Enjoy!

Thanks for 1.6.3!
Small bug:
1. click Cutoff fader and hold the mouse button
2. drag mouse down
3. release the mouse button
Result: Mouse pointer shown below the Cutoff fader
Expected: Mouse pointer shown on the Cutoff fader

Is this a windows thing? On mac it just does what i'd expect but doesn't hide. The cursor hiding on windows is a bit odd (and works poorly in my VM so is tricky to test) so that could be it. I'll ask one of the windows folks in our slack to confirm.Dandruff wrote: Thu Oct 24, 2019 9:59 pm Thanks for 1.6.3!

Not sure if it's a Windows thing. The cursor hiding actually is a very good thing (because screen edges are not interrupting mouse movement). In Voxengo plugins (also with cursor hiding) the mouse cursor is getting shown at the same position when releasing the mouse button as when clicked - so it should be possible to fix it I think ...

Yes there’s code there for cursor hiding and I bet it has a bug! Just want to pin down the os and daw you are using. Should have been clearer sorry!
