Yeah well. I'm afraid we won't see anything like that any day soon.
Too bad.
Well, in case Logic 8 won't come up with something truly great, I'm back on Windows for sure.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

looking forward to the new version !!!!!!!!! :D

will gladly pay you for your efforts. :D

Considering new Macs can run both Windows and MacOS at once, I don't see why there should be the need of a Mac version of... anything :D

Post

Would you consider an EWI as a breath controller ? A friend of mine has one.
You can't always get what you waaaant...

Post

EWI should be fine. I've tested with Motif + BC3 and WX-5 and it works good. Akai EWI shuold be the same as the Yamaha WX-5.
Doesn't matter which wind controller you use, I think it's most important what you play with it... ;)

So I'll ask him, he's a very good sax player.

Hey Guido,

I just wanted to say that this plug sounds fantastic.

While the harmon obviously still needs a bit of work, it is certainly getting there.

I was starting to wonder whether you had abandoned Miles'tone altogether because it seemed like the development had stopped. (especially seeing as beta 1-5? seemed to happen so quick).

Anyway, glad to know that it is off-the-shelf, and that you are still working on it.

I am looking forward to its commercial release.

Thank you Tony!

Post

I'm buying it even if I have to knock over a bank to afford it!
Holy crap Tony's demo is mind-blowing. I actually forgot I was listening to a VSTi at some point
while reading posts since my last. Now if only more than 30 people would buy a midi sax per year so they'd come down to where I can afford one hehe. Arg!!!
OMFG when the horn part kicks in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post

Wow, that demo is mindblowing. Excellent work, guys!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another small demo featuring VB3 (the organ) and Jamstix: Here

True... but I don't wanna install windows on my mac machine, because either way, I do all my live sets from OS X, so it wouldn't be any good for me to load up windows on my mac even to be able to use win only VSTs, 'cuz those sessions would be useless once I got to the stage (since I play my instruments and stuff live). True I could still produce in windows and use OS X to play sequences made in windows and the like, but I just wanna keep it pretty live if I can.

My Kingdom for a way to wrap .dll's into OS X in a good way.

(my kingdom's not very big)
