Media Play stores by me are going out of business. I saw a copy of Sonar for $50. I think the original price was $100. Is it worth picking up. I mostly use FL Studio. From the little bit I read, I do not seem to be missing much by not having it.
But if you are in the Pittsbutgh area, you might want to go look for it.

Ummm...if you can get Sonar for $50, BUY IT! It's usually a few hundred dollars... and it's a great program to boot. I've got both FL Studio and Sonar, and use Sonar MUCH more. I know, it's mostly a matter of what you're used to, but if you upgrade Sonar, the addins alone are worth so much (various plugins and instruments) that you should grab it and enjoy!

Roughly $100 is about right for Sonar Home Studio or Home Studio XL. It's not the big kahuna, but it's certainly servicable, esp for $50.
I already have 5P, but I may be able to score some other good buys. Where are the MediaPlay's in Pittsburgh? Is there one in Robinson Twp (1hr10 from me)?

I am pretty sure it is the Home Edition or whatever the cheapest version is. I bet I can get it for less if I wait.

Yeah, Home Studio is usually 100 dollars. It's great if you don't need Sonitus or Roland's TTS-1. The new Home Studio at 50 bucks is a steal! I got Home Studio 2 when it was new for 100 bucks, and I still use it over everything else.
