I've noticed sometimes downloading samples that occasionally they fall well into the side portion of a stereo meter. Why would you do this? There is obviously going to be phasing difficulty.

If you want to know what I mean, there was a sample set of bongo in sf2 from Audioshots by called "Spe3d Bongos" who's signature falls FLAT on the horizontal side line of a stereo phase meter. Playing them in mono muted the completely. Is this a mistake on the part of the sample manufacturer?
