Before we OFFICIALLY announce it to the world, we're testing to make sure people can download and use the new Ocean Way Drums Expandable Player TRIAL version which you can get simply by joining www.downloadablesoundz.com and going into that free soundz area.

If you want to give any feedback feel free to do it here. I guess you can call it free soundz beta testing. ;) Anyway, enjoy the free 700mb drum kit that you can continue to use if you decide to at least purchase the player which sells on its own in the plug-in section of the site. Here: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/plugi ... nu=plugins

Nice one! Isn't that your favorite kit?

I am having trouble getting the demos to play (for example on this page: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/detai ... uctID=2753) and wonder if others are too.

And do we have to create a new, seperate account from out normal esoundz account?

I guess not; I don't even have an eSoundz account and I'm downloading it. The links on the Free SoundZ page go directly to the files.

Oh! HA ha ha: the button didn't work for me initially, thanks. :D

You've got to please stop doing this kind of stuff, Squids! I'm trying to hold back on my DAW related purchases for a while!!!!

Please, have mercy. Especially with great sounding drums. It's a weakness of mine. :D

If you have an esoundz account you can link it to downloadablesoundz simply by logging into esoundz and then going to your member's area and clicking on the box "DownloadableSoundz" or link/merge my account. You do it now from esoundz only, not the other way around (nothing on downloadablesoundz will be talking about esoundz but rather the other way around.... esoundz will let you use your account login on downloadablesoundz just by doing that procedure). So once you've done that then you can just log into www.downloadablesoundz.com with your same login and pwd and go get the other free stuff... there will be a lot more free stuff on downloadablesoundz that is different than esoundz.

The Multichannel Kit 10 is on of my faves yeah.

Same here. I went to http://www.oceanwaydrums.net/audio2.php (I don't give up very easily!). I really, really like the K10 ambient, which I am hoping is a preset with this kit ten? Squids can you confirm that?

Also, will this kit work with my Roland V-Drums TD-10 right out of the box (or download, as the case may be) or is some tweaking still likely to be necessary?

(Man, I can feel myself getting deeper and deeper down the path that leads to my credit card being entered into a web form...)

Thanks,
eDrummist

No, it's a temporary thing while it is rescanning itself. The demos should play again as soon as its done... within the hour I suppose.

No, it's the medium mix, not the ambient. But the ambient is only $39 with the rest of Kit #10 DL. Actually we're going to do a coupon for $10 off just on Kit 10 DL so that anyone who loves the freebie and really wants the other two mixes (Dry and Ambient) doesn't feel like they're buying the medium when they got it for free. It's a gift from us.

But, keep in mind the DL kits do not have V-Drum maps (yet, we may do it as a free update in the future though). They are only iMap and GM. The Multichannel kits though are iMap, GM and V-Drum.

If you already own Ocean Way Drums Expandable Player then for sure come get the free Kit 10 DL Medium while you can...

EDIT: figured it out. :D

Holy crap, Squids: this is a wicked-sounding kit! Woo hoo!! And how is this restricted again? We're just not supposed to use it after a certain period? I guess Kontakt Player will want to authorize after 30 days?

Man, nice kit... :help:

Christmas already?
