Soundgasm Design proudly presents FunkUnit for Sonic Projects OPX-Pro. FunkUnit is a bank for OPX-Pro which attempts to capture the essence of the 1980's and enhance that essence into a modern usable set of sounds with a contemporary funk influence. Inspired by the films and pop culture of that decade, FunkUnit attempts to provide a little bit of that 80's funk magic for your compositions.

When I clicked on the name of whichever preset, at first I got an "error on page" in IE8, but then clicked on where it says MP3 on the right, and then it worked.

Nice sounds! :)

Thanks guys, I'll check into these problems.

@pdxindy: Is it ok to PM you about this and work with you to resolve this issue?

@Examigan: May I do the same via PM? and thank you.

OK, NP. As an FYI, the playlist uses flash on PC, and HTML 5 on iOS devices. So if you have Flash block or something like that enabled, it wouldn't work that way. Good to hear that the MP3 download worked though :)

Thanks for your feedback.

I have an issue on linux with the firefox equivalent, too. works fine with firefox on windows.
nice sounds, grymmjack ;)

EDIT: as you mentioned flashblock... I have it enabled, but the place to unblock was in the upper left corner, right above the soundgasm logo. not an easy find...
the player still looks somewhat strange (the navigation bar, that is), but is playing fine, once you found the play/pause button ;)

Again, awesome sounds and the website looks freaking gorgeous dude, really great job on everything.

Hi kylie, iceweasel or firefox? :) Thanks for your feedback. May I contact you via PM to make this a better experience for you? If not no worries :) I can install linux and do some testing here.

*edit* forgot to thank you, thanks. :)

I'll be getting this, about 5/6 sounds I really, REALLY like, Just lacking/missing D-Train style stabs for me the set, but the 5/6 sounds are so good and are classic sounding...Does this work with Pro II?

As someone pointed out, the mp3 links work fine... so I'm set... good sounds!

and FYI, like I said, it does not work in Safari and I have no flash block plug-in installed for that. I see the songs in the list and click play but nothing happens.

I do have a Flash blocker on Firefox, but I saw no place to click like usual. The space is just blank.

Cheers

Peter says the sounds are backwards compatible in OPX II but I'm thinking of upgrading to that new version and enhancing these patches further as well. Any of this additional work I do would be free to existing owners of the bank. Thanks for your comments!

Thanks man. Are you using safari on mac or pc? I tested it on both the latest version. I think the flash block icon has a problem with small invisible flash movies this is how the playlist works. Glad to hear the MP3 worked though. Thanks for your reply. It helps me pinpoint and fix things.

I'm on Mac... 10.6.4 ... there is a more recent incremental version of Safari that I have not installed yet... and I may or may not have the very latest Flash plug-in... haven't checked in a while... sometimes when things are just working well, I am loathe to say yes to a bunch of updates! but it is fairly up to date.
