Anyone know anything about an EXSC 4.0 Release?

Not sure that I posted this in the right topic (please move if I didn't), but I was wondering if anyone in this forum knows Wlod (developer of Extreme Sample Converter) personally whether close or not, and knows if he is okay and if EXSC 4.0 will ever be released or if it's a scrapped project?

I have been checking the site back and forth but there are no updates on the site for pretty much the whole year now. I love EXSC 3.6 (minus the crashings that occur if i load too many plugins to use to tweak), and am looking forward to EXSC 4.0.

I tried emailing him a few times throughout this year so far but no word, so I wonder if God forbid, something happened to him (I noticed health issues on an older post years ago in here but he seemed to have since recovered per his post). If anyone can shed any light on him or this program, I greatly appreciate it!
