If this isn't the best endorsement for Zebra, I don't know what is.

Part 2 is where he specifically talks about Zebra and how 99% of the Inception score is Zebra.
Well done Urs and Howard.

Yeah, that's a pretty compelling interview for Zebra. Congrats to Urs.

I loved his comments about Howard Scarr...
Zimmer has remained a refreshingly down-to-earth guy who's really enthusiastic about music - and who recognizes quality when he hears it
And I didn't know about the 99% part... interesting. I thought there was a lot more orchestra on the Inception soundtrack.

For Urs developing and designing the synth, and for Howard getting some amazing sounds out of it in addition to contributing to some great film scores. What did you think?Kriminal wrote:well done for what?5Lives wrote: Well done Urs and Howard.

I too am unsure what Kriminal may have meant.5Lives wrote:For Urs developing and designing the synth, and for Howard getting some amazing sounds out of it in addition to contributing to some great film scores. Wow. Just wow. I watched the whole interview, and it was the most inspiring thing i've watched for ages!
I can't believe Inception and even Dark Knight, or some other things he made was made of soft synths. I remember i was looking for the cinema with the best sound in town, because as i saw the trailers, it was the music which shocked you first. Amazing to have a little peek inside of the process now. Gotta see the movies again.
But it's not just those stories about synths he said, everything else he said was very moving, although i found myself quite envy him for being able to live his dream, but on the other side it's also hugely motivating.
Great!
