iPhone and Line 6

Hi everyone

I just got a line 6 sonic port that plugs in via the 30pin port, then you can plug in a guitar and play through the phone.

Any help with making a guitar tuner app that reads the input sound as opposed to the mic.

I am new to objective c and Ive researched some midi controllers using chuck but I dont know if thats the right direction to take

I have just bought a flange mic input

would it be easier to code the input coming from this?

any tutorials or information would be appreciated
